The OoO's versatility is the result of its neutral sound signature, characterized by a smooth and even tonal balance throughout its output range. Designed to be accurate and transparent, the OoO renders an expansive and well-focused soundstage by minimizing unwanted dispersion. Despite its compact size, the OoO delivers punchy bass response that is satisfying enough to use on its own, but should be paired with a subwoofer for especially demanding music or movie soundtracks.

The OoO's slim shape can be used horizontally as a center channel speaker, vertically as bookshelf speakers, or used with optional wall mounting brackets as surround sound speakers. At under 4 inches tall when laid down, the Micca OoO will fit where other speakers won't. This flexibility allows a sound system to be built gradually using one or more units of the Micca OoO, with the ability to move the OoO to different speaker locations in a surround sound setup as needed.

Each OoO speaker holds two 3-inch square frame woofers in a ported enclosure, achieving usable bass extension down to 60Hz. The woofer's woven kevlar diaphragm has been carefully designed to produce little midrange distortion and a naturally steep high-frequency roll-off. The tweeter is based on Micca's popular 0.75-inch silk dome design, using a high-efficiency neodymium magnet and small diameter bezel for tight driver spacing. A relatively simple yet effective crossover handles the frequency transition between the drivers.

Please note that the Micca OoO is a passive speaker and requires an amplifier or receiver to play sound. It cannot play sound directly from a turntable, phone, or TV without an amplifier. The OoO sound best with its cloth grill in place.
